Recently, the national standard "Information Technology - Biometric Recognition - Face Recognition System Test Methods" (GB/T 42981-2023), proposed and managed by the National Information Technology Standardization Committee and jointly drafted by CloudWalk Technology Group Co., Ltd., the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., among others, will be officially implemented on April 1, 2024.
This marks the recognition of CloudWalk Technology's technical strength and influence in the field of biometric recognition. The implementation of the new national standard will provide more standardized and unified standards for the application of biometric recognition technology, further promoting its development and popularization.
This standard specifies the general requirements for face recognition system testing and describes the functional test methods, performance test methods, and liveness detection test methods for face recognition systems. This standard is applicable to third-party inspection and testing institutions conducting face recognition system testing, and can also be used as a reference by relevant institutions developing and applying face recognition systems.
CloudWalk TechnologySince its establishment, CloudWalk Technology has been deeply engaged in the independent development of AI technology. It has been invited to participate in the formulation of 56 national and industry standards, including national standards for artificial intelligence and ministry-level standards for public security. At the same time, it has undertaken major national projects such as the National Development and Reform Commission's "Artificial Intelligence Basic Resources Public Service Platform" and "High-Accuracy Face Recognition System Industrialization and Application Project", as well as the Ministry of Science and Technology's "National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platform for Audio-Visual Interaction". In 2023, it added 7 new standards, including GB/T 42755-2023 "Artificial Intelligence - Data Labeling Procedures for Machine Learning" and GB/T 42572-2023 "Information Security Technology - Trusted Execution Environment Service Specifications".
Over the years, CloudWalk Technology has actively played a leading role in the construction of the national artificial intelligence standard system, contributing to the healthy development of the industry. In the future, as a leading AI enterprise, CloudWalk Technology will continue to commit to technological innovation and R&D, continuously enhancing its technical strength and competitiveness.
On March 19, 2025, the "2025 Century Forum" co-hosted by the Greater Bay Area Hong Kong Centre and the Asia-Pacific Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce concluded successfully. With the core theme of "Greater Bay Area and Innovation Technology," the forum brought together Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Ni Mingxuan, President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou); Pan Hantang, President of the Asia-Pacific Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce; Wang Zhangle, CEO of Digital Domain Group; and other leaders from political, business, and academic circles, as well as over 300 young scholars, entrepreneurs, and investors from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, to explore the future of smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence. As a benchmark enterprise in China's artificial intelligence field, CloudWalk Technology was invited to attend the forum and participate in the "AI Dialogue" themed roundtable discussion, engaging in in-depth dialogue with representatives from Pony.ai, iFlytek, and other enterprises, sharing the company's breakthrough achievements in AI agent technology.
On October 23, at the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum and Alliance Annual Conference held in Chongqing, a discussion on "Industrial Large Models and Industrial Intelligence" attracted industry attention. Zhang Li, Vice President of CloudWalk Technology, delivered a speech on "Multi-Agent Collaboration in Complex Scenarios", where the ten AI agent cases applied in Qingshan Industry became the focus of the event. In the current wave of intelligent manufacturing, a core contradiction is becoming increasingly prominent: many seemingly "universal" general-purpose large models often suffer from "acclimatization issues" once they enter factory workshops. The absolute precision, deep specialization, and real-time response required by industrial scenarios precisely hit the weaknesses of general-purpose large models.
The Tianjin Port digital human "Tiantian," jointly created by CloudWalk Technology Group and Tianjin Port Group, was officially unveiled, demonstrating to participating companies and institutions the capabilities of CloudWalk's CongRong Large Model in supporting port digital human products.
