Recently, CloudWalk Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company” or “we”) has received reports from suppliers and members of the public that individuals have been impersonating CloudWalk Technology and its affiliated companies. Through online procurement platforms, social media, instant messaging services, apps, mini programs and other channels, they publish false information and forge or misuse our company names, logos, personnel business cards, email addresses, invoicing details and other information. Using pretexts such as equipment procurement, overseas project cooperation, recruitment and employment, and investment and wealth management, they seek to gain public trust and induce people to add contacts, click unknown links, download suspicious software, disclose personal information or make payments.
Such conduct seriously harms our brand reputation and legitimate rights and interests, is suspected of violating the law and constituting criminal offences, and threatens the financial and information security of the public, job seekers, suppliers and business partners.
Of particular concern, unidentified individuals have recently been suspected of impersonating our affiliated company, Beijing CloudWalk Technology Co., Ltd., to contact equipment suppliers through online platforms such as 1688. Citing large procurement orders and overseas project cooperation, they present business cards and invoicing details bearing our company name and personnel job titles, use spoofed email addresses to gain trust, and then induce suppliers to visit unofficial links under pretexts such as internal quotation approval.
We solemnly clarify that the false procurement activities involving suspected impersonation described above have not been authorized by the Company and have no connection with our normal procurement business. A company name, business card, invoicing details or purported internal approval link alone cannot establish the identity of procurement personnel or the authenticity of a procurement requirement.
To help prevent further losses to the public and businesses, we hereby make the following statement:
I. Beware of the Following Typical Forms of Impersonation and Suspected Fraud
1. Impersonating a company to conduct false procurement.
Individuals publish false procurement requirements on online procurement platforms such as 1688 and pose as company executives, procurement managers or assistants. They use claims of large orders, overseas projects, site visits or rapid contract signing to gain suppliers’ trust, then induce them to add personal WeChat accounts or visit unofficial quotation platforms, and may request commercially sensitive information or payment of fees.
2. Forging company materials to create a false appearance of authenticity.
They forge or misuse our name, logo, company business cards, invoicing information, business licences, personnel job titles, contact details and other materials to create false business identities. In particular, spoofed email addresses resembling our official email domain can cause confusion about the sender’s identity. Do not judge authenticity solely by business cards, business licences, invoicing details or email signatures provided by the other party.
3. Publishing false recruitment information to induce software downloads or payments.
Individuals impersonate our recruitment staff and publish false recruitment information through social media, recruitment websites, instant messaging services and other channels. Under the pretext of interviews, assessments, training or onboarding, they require applicants to download apps from unknown sources, visit suspicious links, provide sensitive information such as bank card details or SMS verification codes, or even make payments.
4. Using financing and wealth management as pretexts to obtain money from the public through fraud.
Individuals impersonate CloudWalk Technology to publish false financing, investment and wealth management products through apps, mini programs, WeChat Official Accounts and other online channels. They lure the public into investing or transferring money with claims of high returns, project subscriptions or internal investment opportunities.
We solemnly reiterate that, since its establishment, the Company has never conducted financing activities or sold wealth management products through online channels such as apps, mini programs or WeChat Official Accounts, nor has it authorized any other organization or individual to conduct such activities.
5. Using fake websites, links and QR codes to steal information.
Individuals may send unknown URLs or QR codes under names such as an internal procurement system, quotation approval portal, recruitment assessment platform or investment subscription channel. They induce people to submit sensitive information such as personal information, company materials, bank account details, passwords or verification codes, or to download and install software that poses security risks.
II. Verify Information Carefully Through Official Channels
To help the public and our business partners identify impersonation, we reiterate the following:
1. Official website
CloudWalk Technology’s official website is:
http://www.gedifa.cn
Enter the official website address yourself to look up information. Do not readily trust purported official websites, procurement systems or identity verification links supplied by strangers.
2. Official email
The official corporate email domain we use for external communications is:
@cloudwalk.com
Beware of lookalike domains created by adding or removing letters or changing their order, such as @cloudawlk.com.
Even if an email appears to use the official domain, further verify the sender’s identity through an independent, reliable channel to avoid being misled by techniques such as email spoofing.
3. Official recruitment channels
Obtain recruitment information through CloudWalk Technology’s official website and officially verified recruitment platforms. We will not require job seekers to pay interview fees, training fees, employment deposits or similar charges through software or links from unknown sources, nor will we request sensitive information such as bank card passwords or SMS verification codes.
4. Proper business and procurement channels
All procurement and business cooperation conducted in the name of CloudWalk Technology or its affiliated companies must follow the Company’s established procedures.
If the other party cites large procurement orders, overseas projects or direct contact with senior management to request that you bypass normal business verification, submit quotations or sensitive information through unknown links, or pay fees to a designated account, remain particularly vigilant and contact us proactively to verify the request.
Important reminder: Do not verify identities using telephone numbers, URLs, QR codes or purported customer service channels supplied by suspicious individuals. Confirm them using official contact information that you have independently obtained.
III. Preserve Evidence and Act Promptly to Prevent Financial Loss
If you receive procurement requirements, recruitment information, investment invitations or other suspicious information that may involve impersonation of CloudWalk Technology or its affiliated companies, do not readily add unknown contacts, click unknown links, scan QR codes, download unfamiliar software or transfer money as instructed.
If you have suffered or suspect that you have suffered such fraud, promptly preserve evidence such as chat records, emails, business cards, webpage links and transaction receipts, and report the matter to the public security authorities immediately. If a funds transfer is involved, promptly contact the relevant bank or payment platform to request that payment be stopped, in order to minimize losses.
IV. Formal Warning Against Impersonation and Infringement and Pursuit of Legal Liability
Any unauthorized use of the names, trademarks, personnel identities, company materials or other information of CloudWalk Technology or its affiliated companies to conduct false procurement, recruitment, financing, wealth management or other unlawful activities has no connection with the Company.
We hereby formally warn the organizations and individuals suspected of unlawful conduct or infringement to immediately cease impersonating the Company or its affiliated companies, forging company materials, publishing false information and engaging in similar conduct.
For conduct that infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of the Company or relevant parties, we will collect and preserve evidence in accordance with the law and, depending on the circumstances, take legal measures including complaints and reports to relevant authorities, civil litigation and criminal reports to the public security authorities, to firmly protect the legitimate rights and interests of the Company and the public.
We thank members of the public, suppliers and business partners for promptly reporting relevant risks. We urge everyone to remain vigilant, carefully assess information and guard against fraud.
This statement is hereby issued.
