Human-Machine Collaboration Builds a New Benchmark for AI Cities

In January 2021, CloudWalk Technology partnered with Tianfu New Area to jointly build the Tianfu New Area Digital City project. The project mainly consists of a 1+1+1+N structure: 1 Tianfu Brain, 1 Smart IoT Platform, 1 Smart Portal, and N types of digital city applications. It creates a smart digital twin system, building a virtual twin city that mirrors the real city, completely breaking data silos in a digital space platform, achieving deeper interconnection between urban elements, effectively empowering various innovative application scenarios with intelligence, and promoting the coordinated and inclusive development of the city from multiple dimensions.

Tianfu New Area uses oblique photography and 3D modeling technology for high-precision modeling and restoration, creating 3D models of key buildings and digital utility tunnels. Combined with satellite imagery data, it builds the Tianfu New Area GIS platform and digital twin base capabilities. By integrating basic and business data from various fields within the area, it forms an indicator system to serve the operation monitoring and management of Tianfu New Area's Smart Rongcheng. At the same time, by deploying a system centrally dispatched by the "Tianfu Brain," it lays a solid foundation for efficiently handling cross-departmental and cross-level tasks, actively promoting the integration of local grassroots government application systems.

This enables managers to use real-time online data through the "Tianfu Brain" to promptly and accurately identify problems, match needs, assess situations, and prevent risks.

"Environment as the Guiding Principle" Ensures Smart City Ecological Environment

Smart planning is built based on the Tianfu New Area GIS platform and digital twin base capabilities, with a single blueprint carried through to the end, basically achieving the integration of basic data and intelligent collaboration in park city planning. Smart ecology realizes an intelligent management closed loop for the ecological environment, effectively improving the efficiency of refined comprehensive governance in the park city. Smart flood control integrates precise warning, intelligent simulation, and smart decision-making, enhancing the digital and intelligent level of flood prevention and disaster relief.

At the 2022 Global Smart City Conference, CloudWalk, together with Chengdu City's participating project "Tianfu New Area Smart Ecology" construction case, won the conference's "Energy and Environment Award," marking another championship after last year's "Livable and Inclusive Award." Previously, CloudWalk Technology also received recognition in IDC's 2022 Asia-Pacific Smart City (China) Awards.

Currently, over the past three years in Tianfu New Area, PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations have decreased by 16.38% and 21.81% respectively, the number of days with good air quality has increased by 63 days to 290 days, and the water quality at Jinjiang Zhenggong Road and Luxi River Yujiantan sections has improved from Class V and Class IV in 2018 to Class III, continuously enhancing the city's livability index. New ecological green space has increased by 18,300 mu, and over 20 species of plants and animals have been added, with forest area rising to 143.8 square kilometers, continuously improving carbon sink capacity. The "636" system for green and low-carbon development has been continuously constructed, with 111 housing construction projects meeting green building standards, making green the defining characteristic of the new area's high-quality development.
